He was predeceased by: his siblings, Edward Weingarden, Shirley Eggleston and Elizabeth "Betty Ann" Della Rocco. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his daughters, Laurie A. Housel (John "Jack"), Karen M. Broat (Bruce) of Utica, NY, Paula Rose (Don Alden) of Concord, MA, Lynn F. Marston (Brian) of Lyman, ME and Lisa M. Dousharm (Craig) of Fond du Lac, WI; his sister Noreen Wood of Albany, NY; and his grandchildren, Jennifer, Venessa, Brian B., Katelyn, Brian H. and Kelly. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to. Special Operations Warrior Foundation, or Honor Flight of Syracuse, NY, reflecting his lifelong devotion to faith, family, and country.
