She is survived by: her children, Danielle Rowlands (James William III) and Matthew DiDone (Cristina DeMatteo); her grandsons, Hunter, Dawson Rowlands and Antonio DiDone; her parents, Penelope Harper and Stewart Helmer (Deborah); her siblings, Tanya James (Andrew), Justin Helmer (Summer) and Rebecca Helmer-Woods; her nephew Zachary Harper; and her niece Madelyn Harper.
In lieu of flowers, because Laurie had a profound love of animals, contributions may be made to Helping hounds Dog Rescue, 7268 Caswell St., North Syracuse, NY 13212.
