It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice R. Higgins of Brewster, New York, who passed away on December 14, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Riso and Elizabeth Riso (Fasanella). She is survived by: her husband Edward Higgins; her children, Betty Roscher of Ephrata, PA and Ed Higgins (JoAnn) of Brewster, NY; her brother Louis Riso of Goshen, NY; her granddaughters, Joann, Jessica, Justine and Jaclyn; and her great grandchildren, Austin, Carter, Lorelei, Charlotte, Logan and Stella.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Beecher Funeral Home (1 Putnam Ave, Brewster, NY 10509). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the St. Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery.
