She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen M Donovan and Margaret M Donovan; and her husband Frank. She is survived by: her children, Margaret, Daniel McDonough (Mary Jean) of Portsmouth, RI, Maryellen (Greg) of Danbury, CT, Karen Dobbins (late Timothy) of Pawling, NY, Jeanne D'Ottavio (Michael) of Brewster, NY, Eileen McDonough and Bernadette Richards (Kirby) of Stoughton, MA; and her sisters, Patricia O'Connor of Huntingdon Valley, PA and Mary Ellen Flaherty of Wellesley, MA. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren and her four great grandchildren and her fifth great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Beecher Funeral Home (1 Putnam Ave, Brewster, NY 10509). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Lawrence O'Toole Church (34 Prospect St, Brewster, NY 10509). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at the St. Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery (34 Prospect St, Brewster, NY 10509).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Dominican Nuns, 1430 Riverdale Street, West Springfield, MA 01089 where her granddaughter, Sister Mary of the Word Incarnate, O.P., serves the Lord.
