He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel and Vilma. He is survived by: his wife Marilza; his daughters, Sofia, Isabella and Cristina; his stepson Lucas; and his sisters, Beatriz (Nuno) and Jeannette (Peter). He is also survived by nieces and nephews; numerous cousins and many friends.
