She was predeceased by: her parents, John DiCola and Ida Scipioni; her husband Hans Gentile, Sr.; her granddaughter Christine Coulson; her siblings, Nino DiCola (Josephine), Inez DiLello (Stephen), Donald Esposito and Gilda Scaringella (Nunzio); and her siblings-in-law, Enesse Giovagnorio (Elio), Elia Barberini (Nick) and Rita.
She is survived by: her family Rita; her sister Enesse; her brother-in-law Elio Giovagnorio; her children, Joanne Larson (Dale) and Hans Gentile, Jr. (Debra); her grandchildren, Thomas Coulson, Michelle DeVivo (Thomas), Denise Servello (Frank), Hans Gentile III (Cortnee), Jennifer Larson (Susan) and Jason Larson; her sister Emma Esposito; and her sister-in-law Agnes (Raymond Juback). She is also survived by her twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Waterbury & Kelly Funeral Home. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Theresa's Church (1394 Pleasantville Rd, Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510). An entombment was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 12:35 PM at the Ferncliff Cemetery (280 Secor Rd, Hartsdale, NY 10530).
