He was predeceased by: his father William F.; and his brother Douglas. He is survived by: his brother Dave; his wife Eileen McCormick; his children, Tara Blanding-Newcomb (Thomas) and Mark Blanding; his grandchildren, Riley and Shamus Newcomb; his siblings, Daniel (Bonnie), Dale (Mary Pat), Karen (Jason Mohorter), Donald, Dwayne and William "Billy" (Tanya); and his sister-in-law Susan M. Calvert. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
