It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Herbert V. Grimm of Bridgeport, New York, born in Hornell, New York, who passed away on April 24, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As Herbert departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Herbert. Though Herbert may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by : his wife Edna Grimm; and his siblings, Francis Grimm and Peggy Palmeter. He is survived by : his significant other Linda Dines; his children, Jeff Grimm (Tonyia), Leslie Ball (Darren), James Grimm (Wendy) and Michele Grimm; and his sister Rosemary Loveland (Don). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Traub Funeral Home Inc. (7975 NY-31, Bridgeport, NY 13030). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
