He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Bateman and June Bateman; and his siblings, Erthus, Bradley, James and Eric Bateman.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry James; his children, Geo, Stephen (Kayla), Michelle Sweeney (Michael) and Derek (Katelyn Holbrook); his grandchildren, Mia, Rose, August, Crew, Murphy, Lainey and Brady; and his siblings, Cheryl, Lynne Ryder, Keith, Martin, Jeannine Rammage, Timothy and Kris. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In accordance with the family's wishes, memorial donations may be directed to the Athletic Booster Club of Fulton to benefit the Fulton Varsity Soccer teams.
