She is survived by: her son Frank E. Merkel; her daughter-in-law Bonnie L. Merkel; and her grandchildren, Cameron F. Merkel-Yablonski (Elizabeth Merkel-Yablonski), Binghamton, Erika A. Bishop (Tyler Bishop) of Baldwinsville, Ryan A. Merkel of Albany, Collin F. Merkel of Constantia and Logan S. Merkel of Constantia.
