She was predeceased by: her brother Shad Brennan. She is survived by: her parents, Donald Brennan and Aline Brennan (Martin); her husband Michael D. Carpenter; her sons, Bradley Ettelt of Herkimer and Gregory Ettelt of Ilion; her granddaughter Sophia Ettelt; and her siblings, Robin Brennan, Kim Norman (Gary) of Ilion, Brigette Brennan of Utica, Gretchen Nimey (Mark) of Marcy and Shawn Brennan. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
