He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Ryan and Edward L. Ryan; and his siblings, Joseph J. Ryan II, Richard V. Ryan and Pamela Ryan Goldrick.
He is survived by: his wife Daina Ryan; and his siblings, Edward Ryan (Anne), Mary Elizabeth Ryan, Geraldine Zipf (Larry), Jeanne Ryan (Jim Boomgarden), Ann, Catherine Lawn (Joe) and Amanda Ryan. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews as well as 10 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. (1225 Montauk Hwy, West Islip, NY 11795).
