Carmella Repka Obituary
In loving memory of Carmella Repka of Broadalbin, New York, who departed this world on June 23, 2025 at the age of 90. Carmella leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Sgambati and Chiarina Sgambati; her husband Henry Repka; her siblings, Dominica Iavarone (Nick), Anna Waldynski (Ed) and Peter Sgambati (Adeline); and her sons, Robert and Kenneth Repka.
She is survived by: her son Richard; her daughter-in-law Linda Repka of Rochester; her grandchildren, Mark, Paul Repka of Rochester, Ace Repka of Ithaca and Kristopher Repka (Karla) of Atlanta, GA; her great grandchildren, Kayden, Kamila and Liam of Atlanta, GA; and her sister Jennie Orapello (Mike) of Amsterdam. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (7 North St, Broadalbin, NY 12025). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Adalbert's Cemetery (2800 Hamburg St, Schenectady, NY 12303).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Renovation Fund at St. Joseph's Church or to the Brennan Memorial Humane Society, both in care of the funeral home.
