It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Gerard Mahoney of Broadalbin, New York, who passed away on May 5, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Mahoney and John Mahoney; his former wife Kathryn Reynolds; and his wife Bonnie Lamos. He is survived by: his siblings, David, Kevin and Mary Kathleen; his children, Jennifer Mahoney Dennie, Sean Mahoney, Megan and Molly; and his significant other Dora Feathers. He is also survived by several grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews and some life-long friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Konicek & Collett Funeral Home (1855 12th Ave, Watervliet, NY 12189). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers John would have preferred people donate to their favorite charity.
