We announce the death of Lucy Katherine Wilcox (Broadalbin, New York), who passed away on August 14, 2026, at the age of 99. She was predeceased by: her parents, Antoni Cechnicki and Aniela Cechnicki (Wieliczyk); her husband Eugene Lewis Wilcox; her granddaughter Kristina Tomlinson; and her siblings, Katherine "Kasha" Symansky, John Cechnicki, Verna "Veronica" Cechnicki, Marisha Michaud, Jadwiga "Josephine" Thomas and Antosia "Antoinette".
She is survived by: her children, Nadine Sleasman (Stephen), Arlene Tomlinson (David), Kevin Wilcox (Dale) and Barbara Meehan, DC (James, DC); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Tomlinson, David Tomlinson (Jennifer), Sabrina Smarup (Sean), Melissa Mabie (Ken), Brian Sleasman (Mallory), Denise Mooney (Michael), James Meehan (Carrie), Shannon Moorefield (Bryant), Jennica Hayes (Rory), Mackenzie Meehan, DC, Stephanie Wilcox (Adam Pulaski), Darek Wilcox (Annika), Heath Kane (Susan) and Michael Kane (Yuthi); her great grandchildren, Emilia, Jack Sleasman, Ani M. Mooney, Shawnna Price, Evan Tomlinson, Breanna, Marquis, Ellie May, Mina, John Joseph Tomlinson (Emilee Horning), Jenna Friers (Kristofer), Hannah Torrone (Chad), Kiaira Tomlinson, Kaidyn Wilmot, Zach Moore, Shelby Moore, Nathanial, Isabella, Olivia Smarup, Marcella, Kristofer Mabie, Ethan, Aubrey, Ava, Eliana, Anthony Moorefield, Logan Hayes, Jaamay Meehan, Patrick, Julia Kane, Archer and Kiaan Kane; her sister-in-law Verlene Wilcox Sanford Tierney; and her pet Furby. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Broadalbin Kennyetto Fire Company, St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, St. Mary's Hospital Alumnae Association, or the Mental Health Association in Fulton and Montgomery Counties, in care of the funeral home Kochamy cię — We love you, Mom.
