He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Ostwald and Elsa M. [Buth] Ostwald; and his wife Betty R. [Payne] Ostwald. He is survived by: his children, Paul Ostwald (Maria), Beth Dickinson (Carl) and Lori Ostwald; his grandchildren, Nicole Thomas (Mark), John Ostwald (Kristin), Julie Webekind (William), Katherine Butch (Matthew), Lia and Lin Dickinson; his great grandchildren, Zachary Marshall, Connor, Brynn Thomas, Emma, Preston Ostwald, Elizabeth, Gregory, Mary, Peter, Thomas Webekind, Joseph and Patrick Butch; and his brothers-in-law, Robert E. and David R. Payne. He is also survived by 3 nieces and one nephew.
Memorials may be made in his name to St. Andrew Lutheran Church.
