As we bid adieu to Joan's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Joan has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Dries and Anna Dries of Brockport; and her husband George "Duffer" Salisbury of Joseph's Cemetery. She is survived by: her children, Richard Vanderlaan, Gary Vanderlaan (Michele) and Michele Salisbury-Rankin; her daughter-in-law Karen Conn; her grandchildren, Shannon, Derek Vanderlaan, Anna and Grayson Rankin; and her close friend Michael.
