He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred and Jessie. He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Michael DeToy (Laurel), Suzanne Eshenour (David) and Kerry Blask (David); and his sister Jacqueline Nowak (Dexter). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute to Strong Memorial Hospital Palliative Care or to the Aurora House.
