With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alan Pasarell of Bronx, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anna Ristuccia Schoffel and Howard Schoffel (Sherrie Pasarell); his siblings, Marianne Gold and Michael Schoffel; his siblings-in-law, Harvey Gold and Miki Yoshiura; his sister Dolores Rosner; his nieces, Jill and Rita Pasarell; his son-in-law Jerry Riedl; his cousins, Jeanette Katz, Marguerite Permenter, Charlie Nostra, Gerard Nostra, Henry Ristuccia and Lucille Hunt; his niece Alexandra Gold; and his nephew Sonny Gold.
The family will accept flowers, or donations in his name can be made to the following organizations: Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, American Lung Association, Foundation Fighting Blindness.
