It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Amador of Bronx, New York, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Williams and Mary Elizabeth Williams; and her siblings, Mary Karszewski, Anne Dilworth, Helen Williams, Bernadine Ismail and Walter Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Bernadine Vasquez, Robert Counts (Karen), Anthony Vasquez (Joanne), Deborah Wellington, William Periche, Jaunita Felice (Edwin), Bernice Amador, Esther Rondon, Juan Amador Jr. (Joanne), Bernard Amador, Mary Pazienza (Joseph), Shawn Vasquez (Mayra) and Samantha Amador; and her husband Juan R. Amador. She is also survived by children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. (23 N 9th St, Stroudsburg, PA 18360). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Buena Vista Cemetery (1915 US-209, Brodheadsville, PA 18322).
