Elizabeth Ruperto Obituary
We mourn the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Elizabeth "Cuca" Ruperto, who left us this past Saturday at the age of 73. Born in San German, Puerto Rico on June 16, 1952 she went on to spend her entire life in the Bronx, where she became the heart of the 3rd Avenue community. A single mother of two girls, she was the matriarch of our family, always bringing joy, a smile, and an unforgettable spirit to every room she entered. She loved music, especially mariachi, and she was known for being the life of every party. As the only aunt, she held that role close to her heart, guiding us all with love. She leaves behind her two daughters, nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored deeply. Her light will still shine in each of us forever.
Lamentamos profundamente el fallecimiento de nuestra querida madre, abuela y bisabuela, Elizabeth "Cuca" Ruperto, quien partió con el Señor este pasado sábado a la edad de 73 años. Nacida en San Germán, Puerto Rico, el 16 de junio de 1952 , vivió la mayor parte de su vida en el Bronx, donde se convirtió en el corazón de la comunidad de la Avenida 3.
Madre soltera de dos hijas, fue la matriarca de nuestra familia, siempre regalando alegría, una sonrisa y un espíritu inolvidable a todo lugar donde llegaba. Le encantaba la música, especialmente el mariachi, y era conocida por ser el alma de cada fiesta. Como la única tía, desempeñó ese rol con mucho orgullo y amor, guiándonos siempre con cariño.
