With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Girard Nixon of Bronx, New York, who passed away on August 16, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Nixon and Mary Nixon; his brothers, John Francis Nixon (Lynn) and Kevin Cornelius Nixon; his children, Amy Greer (Robert) and Allison Nixon-Mulroy (Brian); his grandchildren, Ryan Elizabeth and Robert Peter Greer; his former wife Ellen Nixon (Cordes) of Bronx; and his nieces, Jennifer Fiorucci (Joseph) and Laura Renna (Lou).

Due to COVID restrictions, masks are required, and time is restricted. Reposing. Thursday, August 19th from 1 to 4 pm at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx NY.

Interment St. Raymond's Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, please donate to the New York Blood Bank or consider another random act of kindness.
