Hector Travieso passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 29, 2026.
Hector lived with a light that refused to fade. From his teenage years, he faced kidney disease with quiet strength and unwavering grace, yet he never let it define him. Instead, he chose to live fully—with joy, humor, and a heart open to everyone around him.
He had a rare gift: he made people feel seen, valued, and cared for. Hector was always the first to reach out, to check in, to make sure you were okay—even when he was carrying so much himself. His smile was constant, his laughter contagious, and his kindness effortless. He reminded others, simply by the way he lived, that even in life's hardest moments, there is always room for love and light.
Hector leaves behind more than memories—he leaves a way of being. He asks that his life be honored through shared stories, cherished photos, and the small acts of kindness we offer one another. In doing so, his spirit continues on.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
