She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Borges and Josefina Morales; and her husband Carlos Manuel Espada. She is survived by: her children, Jeanette Espada-Rivera, Edgar Espada, Brandon Espada and David Espada. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
