With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julie Artist (Bronx, New York), who passed away on June 26, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Merchant and Eleta McLymont Merchant; her husband Benjamin Artist; her siblings, Charles "Roy" Merchant, Joseph Merchant and Ivy Thomas; and her sister-in-law Joyce MacFarlane Merchant.
She is survived by: her daughter Benrita Artist; and her brother Roland S. Merchant (Audrey). She is also survived by grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
