She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley McGilberry and Josie Bell Fort. She is survived by: her children, Melantha and Victor; her sister Mary Ann Brewer; and her son Aubrey. She is also survived by her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Katie's name to the Murchison Family Chapel Church.
