Though Luz may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Luz touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Scheman; her parents, Maria Pacheco and Ebaristo Pacheco; and her grandson Erich Scheman. She is survived by: her children, Margaret Scheman, Mary Scheman-Stella (Jose Stella), Peter Scheman and Harry Scheman; her granddaughter Corissa; and her great grandchildren, Sarah, Shelby and Seth.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home (424 East Ave, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
