As we bid Marie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Marie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sons, Jonathan and Justin; her grandson Justin Jr.; her husband Lawrence; her parents, Cecelia DiDonato Greig-Bateman and James Greig; and her siblings, Cecilia, Patricia Greig and Robert Bateman.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marie's memory to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
