She was predeceased by : her parents, Edmund Gough and Grace Gough. She is survived by : her husband John; her children, Kristen (Joe), John (Linda) and Michelle (Richard); and her grandchildren, Andrew, Christopher, Dean, Jack, Owen, Hirpheshi, Richard, Grace, Melkitu and Patrick.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schuyler Hill Funeral Home (3535 E Tremont Ave, Bronx, NY 10465). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St Frances de Chantal Church (190 Hollywood Ave, Bronx, NY 10465). A burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the St. Raymond's Cemetery (2600 Lafayette Ave, Bronx, NY 10465).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Calvary Hospital where Mary was so lovingly cared for during her last weeks on this Earth.
