With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Melody Akakpo (Bronx, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Melody left this world on November 7, 2025 at the age of 68, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Benjamin Cudjoe Akakpo, Diana Akakpo, Emmanuel Akakpo and Kwame Minimsah. She is survived by: her children, Dorcas Ashley and Fidelia Amamoo-Ocansey.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hudson Funeral Home (6110 Riverdale Ave, Bronx, NY 10471).
