She was predeceased by : her parents, John McVey and Margaret McVey; and her sisters, Josephine and Eileen. She is survived by : her husband Richard "Sonny" Carmody; her children, Richard (Theresa) and Danielle; and her grandchildren, Richard V, Michael, Samantha and Keira.

A wake was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Mass was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 9:45 AM at the St. Margaret of Cortona Church (31 Chamberlain Ave, Little Ferry, NJ 07643).
