He is survived by: his wife Nilsa Perez; his daughters, Elena Perez and Adriana Perez; and his siblings, Sahara Aggimenti, George Perez, Angie Cami-Perez, Barbara Perez and Melissa Perez. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Peter's name to Operation Smile, a charity he supported annually, or to Habitat for Humanity, a cause that reflects his dedication to the creation of safe, dignified homes for others.
