Richard Varricchio Obituary

We bid farewell to Richard Varricchio (Bronx, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmela Varricchio and Guarino Varricchio; and his brothers, Augustine and Arthur. He is survived by: his granddaughter Francesca; his wife Frances; his daughters, Francine (Mark Rookwood) of Pelham, NY and Louise (Jeffrey Adorno) of New Rochelle, NY; his grandson Richard Rookwood; and his siblings, Roseann Deluccia and Louis Varricchio. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and friends.
