She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Forbes and Sarah Jane Boyd-Forbes; her husbands, Joe Sr. and Joseph Curry Sr.; her siblings, Floyd Forbes, Lorraine Forbes, Sam Boyd and Leander Forbes; her sons, Joseph Curry Jr., Ronald Curry and Larry Curry; and her daughters-in-law, Lorraine Curry and Mary Curry.
She is survived by: her aunt Hannah (Cecil Meyers); her niece Addie; her children, Joe Jr., Paul Curry, Irene Cruz and Kevin Curry; her grandchildren, Omar Curry, Amanda Curry, Michael Curry, Kaseem Cruz, Paul Curry Jr., Cynthia Cruz-Robinson, Jasmine Johnson, Andre Curry, Ejohni Cruz, Destiny Cruz, Malik Cruz and Serenity Williams; and her great grandchildren, Najya, Avion, Azra, Paris, Caleb, Jacey, Amira, Ejohni Jr., Makiyah and Jazmyn. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McCall's Bronxwood Funeral Home (4035 Bronxwood Ave, Bronx, NY 10466). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
