He is survived by: his wife Loretta Karabel; his children, Jay Karabel (Daniela Karabel), Krista Molluzzo (Daniel Molluzzo) and Marissa Gilly (Ryan Gilly); his grandchildren, Alivia "Livi", Frankie "Franks" Karabel and Caleb Molluzzo; and his goddaughter Alexis Cunzio.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schuyler Hill Funeral Home (3535 E Tremont Ave, Bronx, NY 10465). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10532).
