It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter A. Figueroa Jr. of Bronx, New York, who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Walter may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Luz A. Quinones-Prisco and Walter A. Figueroa; his children, James, Chad, Crystal and Annie; and his sibling Teddy Figueroa. He was also cherished by his aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Costa Memorial (170 Central Ave, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ 07604). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Margaret of Cortona R. C. Church (31 Chamberlain Ave, Little Ferry, NJ 07643). An entombment will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at the George Washington Memorial Park (234 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652).
