He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Klumpp; his children, Elizabeth Mateo (Rodrigo) and Evan Beard (Anya); his grandchildren, Aurora, Aella, Eli Beard and Samuel Mateo; and his siblings, Mayo J. Morgan (Dan), Liz D. Ploss (David) and Grant H. Beard (Susan).
