He was predeceased by: his father Joao. He is survived by: his mother Maria; his siblings, Josiana, Alexandre and Wagner; his nieces and nephews, Gabriel, Thayna, Phellipe, Giulia, Murillo, Augusto and Vinicius; his parents-in-law, Jini George Cummins and Ed Cummins; his nieces and nephews, Katie, Kim, Danny, David, Ashley and Sophia; his wife Susan; Billy, Patty George, Cordes George, Vivian Lem, Bart and Jenny George.

Helio battled Covid from the ICU for 50 heroic days.
