“I am sorry to hear about the passing of Lydia. I just called her for her birthday and was concerned when the number was out of service. I met Lydia in the 90s when I I worked with her while I was a student at FIT. We remained in touch and I worked with her again around 2008. She is remembered as an interesting, inspiring woman who made great accomplishments in fashion, retail, and her prior work singing. I’ve spent many days sharing tea and pastries with her. She felt like family to me.”
