He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Fitzpatrick and Virginia Hughes; and his sisters, Virginia Burke, Priscilla Delehanty and Nannette Neumar.

He is survived by: his wife Rita Bundschuh; his sons, Paul and Kevin; his grandchildren, Evelyn, Owen, Kieran and Thomas; his daughter-in-law Caroline; his grandchildren, Julia, Pierce and John; his daughter-in-law Alyce; his grandchildren, Saoirse and Aisling; his sister Marybeth Egan; Cherry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 9:45 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (15 Cedar St, Bronxville, NY 10708).
