He is survived by: his close friend Denise C. Lee (Dendtler); his grandson Braxton; his daughter-in-law Kamilah; his wife Denise C. Lee; his children, Tashir (Kamilah), Jibraan (Mary), Amir and Sakai; his grandchildren, Dajhin, Devin, Parrish, Pierce and Ashanti; his siblings, Shearan Barnes (LeVern), Karen Mitchell (Robert), Mark (Yvette) and Teresa; his siblings-in-law, Malcolm Dendtler, Pamela Dendtler, Camille Dendtler, Artis Dendtler, Anastacia Lee-Hall and Cynthia Russell Lee; his nieces and nephews, Cheniqua Williams, Aisha Baker (Najeed), Dionna Mitchell, Jasmine Lee, Jamilah Lee, Ashley Lee, Brianna Burt (Albert), Chantel Champlain, Antoinette Dendtler, Sienna Dutkowski (James), Bijan Clark, Kendall Dendtler, Natasha Carter, Shawn Thorpe (Sasha), Antoine Barrett, Devon Mitchell (Ashley), Troy Dendtler, Juan Dendtler (Hannah), Adrian Lee (Courtnay) and Lateef Way (Patty); and also Mary Evelyn Lee. He is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
