He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Lingard and Roberta Lingard; his siblings, Carrie of Washington, Sarah Alston and Harold Lingard; his mother-in-law Sudie Mitchell; and his granddaughter Quinisha Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Althea Lingard; his children, Lorie Lingard of Brooklyn, NY, Tami Carter (Darryl) of Charlotte, NC, Yolanda Williams of Queens, NY., Jeffrey Mitchell (Sandra) of Poconos, PA and Peter Usher (Darlene) of Brooklyn, NY.; his grandchildren, Damien Lingard (Gwen) of Jacksonville, FL, Althea Lee of New York, NY, Danielle Best (Rodney) of Varnville, SC, James Lingard (Shahida) of Middletown, DE and Aliyana Mitchell of Poconos, PA.; his great grandchildren, Eve, DeNylia, Kehlani, Shahid, Jaeda and Jaden; his sisters, Lucia Riley, Cozzie Lingard and Priscilla Medina; and his sisters-in-law, Pearline Lingard of Varnville, SC and Phyllis Mitchell of New York, NY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
