Bryan Benjamin Cambridge Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bryan Benjamin Cambridge of Brooklyn, NY, affectionately known as Benny to some and Ben to others, was born on October 29, 1951, in Mt. Pleasant, NY, departed this life on his birthday, October 29, 2025.
Bryan lived through nearly two millennia of history, witnessing, participating and adapting to an ever-changing world. He attended Sleepy Hollow High School and was known for his love of reading and his exceptional skill in chess. An avid reader throughout his life, he found joy and wisdom in the written word. As an advanced chess player, he approached the game with strategy and insight that reflected his thoughtful nature.
Cherished memories of Benny will always be remembered by his sons, Bryan Palmer of Yonkers, NY, Jermaine Brown of Manhattan, NY and Benjamin Wilson of Mt Vernon, NY; his granddaughters; Kitrease Harris, of Yonkers, NY and, of Olivia Brown of Fishkill, NY; grandsons, Bryan Palmer Jr and great grandson Khamary Brown of Yonkers, NY, two sisters, Yvonne Jenkins Foster (John) of Hyde Park., NY and Vivian Richardson (Beronie) of Charlotte, NC; brother, James Cambridge (Janice) of Houston, TX; seven nephews, Joseph & Trent Jenkins, Beronie & Ron Richardson, Anthony Bush, Ben & Jon Cambridge, one niece, O’Tarya Cambridge; and a host of relatives and friends, including cousins Dawn and Dwayne Davis and ex wife Barbara Palmer. Benny was preceded in death by his parents Milo and Audrey Cambridge, and his sister Renee Bush Gooding.
Though Benny has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
