It is with sadness that the passing of Carmen Ramos (Brooklyn, New York) is shared. Carmen, born on September 29, 1936, passed away on October 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Carmen will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Carmen by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Carmen is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Carmen’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Joseph Arroya (Susana Florio), Yvette Alberti, Gabriel Muniz and Nancy Muniz-Ramos; and her grandchildren, Marlaina Grispino, Katherine Arroya and Amanda Rogers.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the D'Arienzo Funeral Home (104 Skillman Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In Lieu of Flowers Carmen's family request a memorial donation in her memory be made to The American Heart Fund.
