He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel and Mary (Mulkerrin); and his uncle Frank Burns. He is survived by: his wife Catherine (O'Regan); his children, Sarah, Jack, Patrick, Erin and Ciara; his siblings, John, Maureen, Kathryn, Regina, Geraldine, Sheila, Bernadette and Brian; his aunt Della Burns; and his cousin Thomas Burns. He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
