She is survived by: her cousin Jimmy; her significant other Mohammed Shamsul Hoque; her son Mohammed Abdul Hoque; her nephew Franky Dee; her nieces, Susan, Kelly, Krystal and Chynna; her great-niece Emmalee; her nephews, Trent, Deon, Immanuel and Franklin (Arlene); and her brother-in-law Franklin. She is also survived by her husband; many cherished brothers‑ and sisters‑in‑law; additional nieces and nephews through marriage; cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Diane retired shortly after the COVID‑19 pandemic began.
