She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Albert Scripps; her children, Eva Callahan (Robert) and Ronald Scripps (Jeannine); her grandchildren, Richelle Laput, Cory Scripps, Kayla Callahan and Shaun Scripps; her brother-in-law Robert Scripps; her friend Rosie Robinson; her sister Amalia Fernandez Chamizo (Pepe); her nephew Jose Manuel Fernandez; her niece Eva Fernandez Chamizo; and her parents, Manuel Chamizo Barroso and Dolores Sola Garcia. She was also cherished by her family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Dolores to the Staten Island Counsel for Animal Welfare or the Micheal J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
