With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Donald Santarpia of Brooklyn, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Donald left this world on June 1, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonso Santarpia and Lily Santarpia; his wife Josephine; and his daughter Donna Spano (Robert). He is survived by: his siblings, Michael (Marie) and Judy Santarpia; his granddaughters, Danielle and Samantha Spano; and his friend Carmine Palumbo (Margie).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Waitt Funeral Home and Cremation Service (501 Hwy 79, Morganville, NJ 07751). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Clement Church (172 Freneau Ave, Matawan, NJ 07747).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Foundation and/or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
