He is survived by : his father Harry (Eva Chororos); his wife Barbara Theodore Chororos; his siblings, William Chororos and Peggy Minaides; his nephew Michael (family: Sandra, Olivia, Matthew Minaides); his niece Kristin (family: Walt, Lauren, Katie Tencza); and his grandchildren, James (family: Laura, Jayce, Harry, Brynn Chororos) and Christina Chororos.

“Dearest Barbara, James, Christina and family, We want to offer our sincere condolences. Jim will always be remembered for his strength and love for his family. We are so thankful to have spent time with him in Cascades. Although he must have enjoyed being closer (in proximity ) to all of you the months before his passing, Praying for all of you, as you adjust to life without Jim.
