We are sad to announce that, on January 11, 2026, John DeMegret (Brooklyn, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his children, Roberto, Andrés and Claudia; his wife Maria Peña; his grandchildren, Claudia Amaranta, Paula, Sebastián, Zaylin and Yuselis; his stepson Carlos Peña; his children-in-law, Lenny and Flora; and his siblings, Oscar Rodriguez and Gloria Achamizo. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
